My Own Stories

First feelings are often unique and unknown, accompanied by hopefulness view of the world. So here's my story about puppy love :)

My Fourth Year

High school is the most memorable part of my teenager’s life, and when gets mixed in with an awkward adolescent’s idea of liking someone, my life turns into a whirlwind emotional adventure. It was perfect Monday morning waking up to a beautiful sunny day, highlighting the blank sky with a trace of gold. I can softly hear birds chirping outside my window. My mom cooked an egg simmering in a pan fills the air with an amazing smell. It tastes tender and soft. It was Monday of June being fourth-year high school students. While walking I observe my surroundings and majority of the students were talking to their friends. As time pass by, I arrived in our room and searching for empty chairs to sit by. Few minutes passed, there is a group of rowdy guys who entered our classroom. I just smirk and shrugged at them. There is one guy who caught my attention, his eyes as brown as coffee his eyelashes are long thick and black delicate. His hair is so dark that suites, he got a slim body, and he is taller than me. He isn’t clear skin but he got this mysterious look. My heart skips a beat when our eyes met, I freeze and I quickly look away and hide my smile.

In the midst of our fourth-year high school, all of my classmates and I are very close to each other and we bond as if we are family The boy I like has a sense of humor he always making fun of me he likes squeezing my cheeks and nose. His voice is deep and melodic and he made me feel okay to be who I am and he got me to like so many things I probably never would have without him. The sound of his voice sends chills racing down my spine. We became best friends and it all started when he gives me sweet candy, but he didn’t know that I have this feeling towards. February 14 It’s Valentine’s Day month of love, our room filled with heart red-shaped paper hanging on our ceiling with a melodious love song background. Everyone is busy preparing a surprise for their loved ones.

As time goes by, I saw him in the corner listening to the background music while pouting his kissable lips. I immediately walk towards him and gave him my letter. He looks confused and ask about the letter I just smile and walk away. He shouted my name but I ignored it and continue walking. Tomorrow morning, he texted me about the letter he said he already read my letter and he appreciates my efforts but my heart broke into pieces when he said that he can’t give me more than friends because he’s still stuck in his past relationship, I rejected. We are still talking to each other but not the same as before. When we are in the last year of being a high school I started to changed and quit because I know that his world will never really fit me, I reject four time and I realized that it was all infatuation.

My sad story I've ever made :(

The Last Trip with Him

Life is full of memories. Every time I close my eyes and allow my thoughts to wander, my head fills with memories, people, places, and events that have made an unforgettable mark on my life. Sometimes those memories are wonderful, but other times they kill us slowly since they are full of sorrow.

It was a perfect Monday morning waking up to a beautiful sunny day, highlighting the empty sky with a hint of gold. I sit up in my bed and stretched my body while the birds chirped outside my window “What a beautiful day! Today is my elder sister and my father’s birthday.” I grab my one cup of water placed at the side of my bed and sip a bit of it. After I drank a small amount of water, I'll go straight to my bathroom to wash my bare face and brush my teeth. I cheerfully walked to our kitchen after doing my morning routine. While walking, I saw my older sister in the living room watching her favorite documentary film. My sister’s name is Reshvia she is so kind and caring, she has thick black eyebrows and almond brown eyes that will capture your heart. I hugged her back and kissed her cheek and greeted her. “Good morning ate Happy birthday!” At first, she was so shocked and said, “Oh my gosh! you scared me bunso, by the way, thank you.” She smiled and hugged me back. I’m about to ask her but she preceded and said, “If you are going to ask me where’s mom? She’s in the kitchen.” A big smile formed on my lips, “Gotcha! You are the best sister, thank you!”

I ran into our kitchen and there I saw my mother cooking our breakfast she cooked an egg simmering in a frying pan filling the air with a breathtaking smell. My mom saw me hiding at the back of the curtains, her name is Florebel, but we called her mama Flor, and she said, “I can see you, come here help me to prepare our breakfast bunso,” she said it with a teasing smile, I groaned because my plan was failed but my mom just shook her head and gently kissed my forehead, “Good morning my sweet daughter, so would help me honey?” mom said. “Good morning mom,” I tightly hugged her and kissed her left cheek, and she squeezed my nose and continued what she was doing. After preparing for our breakfast my mom told me that my father was still sleeping so I decided to surprise him. I am about to leave, and I heard my mom's loud voice, “Reshvia! Call your two sisters and tell them we were going to eat." I am happily half running towards my parents’ room, and I was about to open the door. My father appeared, and I was shocked and put my hand on my chest felt like I was chasing a ghost, “Good morning bunso, anyway what are you doing here?” my father said with a worried look. “I’m planning to surprise you because today is your birthday!” I sadly said and slowly bowed my head. My father chuckled and lifted me like a pillow he laughs so hard and said, “You’re so sweet my daughter I love you bunso.” I just crossed my arm and pout. My father smirk and he suddenly tickled my underarms, and I burst out a loud laugh. We're both laughing and teasing while walking towards the kitchen. My mom told us to stop because we're going to eat. After eating, my dad told us to prepare because Tito Rey my mothers’ younger brother, will be here in a few minutes to pick us and honestly, we don’t know exactly what kind of place we are going to. Meanwhile, we are all set at exactly 11:00 A.M and my Tito arrived at 11:20 A.M. After putting all our things in the car and we left immediately.

While we're on the trip my mom told us that we will celebrate my sisters’ and my father’s birthday at the private beach resort of my auntie located at Viajero, Maasim Saranggani Province. We will spend our days there in two days, and one night I am delighted that, despite being isolated for months due to the epidemic, we were able to travel and have fun on the outside world. All of the sudden while listening on the radio and roaming outside the window my eyes went to my father. His name is Rodolfo, but everybody called him boy. He may seem strict and solemn at first look, yet he is gentle and kind on the inside. He loves making people happy, and he got him a passion for helping other people. His deep brown eyes are lively and captivating, reflecting the depths of his soul and heart. His smile is brimming with warmth and tender lovelights. Also, he is the strongest person I have ever known. Suddenly, I noticed that my dad was getting older I could see the wrinkles all over his face and his hair starting to gray. While watching him I could tell that my father is happy I can see it into his eyes, I smiled and decided to sleep because this will be a long trip.

We arrived at our location after two hours. I yawned and stretched my body, ready to enjoy the day. I shivered when a breeze of cold air blew over my face as I opened the door. The place was relaxing and calm, from here, I clearly see the pure blue ocean, and the tiny grains on the sand sparkled and glowed brightly under the sun. The smell of the sea gives me the chills. The unfamiliar sound of waves splashing on the seashores and the sound of coconut trees blowing in the breeze were soothing to my ears. The birds are singing, and the flowers are dancing. When I looked upon the sky, it looked like a masterpiece, so perfect. Everything seemed unexpected, and the scenery made the landscape appear like something out of a painting.

Later on, I was too busy taking a selfie picture and suddenly a black butterfly perched on my right finger. I was shocked at the moment, but after a few seconds, I smiled because the black butterfly looked so beautiful under the brilliant sun. I was about to take a picture, but the butterfly flew away. Afterward, I felt an unknown feeling and I was stunned as I stared at the black butterfly, weird. As soon as I recovered, I immediately ran to our room and put all my things. While fixing my things I noticed how beautiful the style of our room, it was built on simple concrete silt, and the walls are built-in bamboo shafts. Our room has a ladder that leads up to it. It is open and well aired to keep the home cooler and enable natural light to enter the space. The floors are bamboo slats, and the ceiling is sharply pitched. In the long, hot, humid summers, this house has a cooling and relaxing vibe. While mesmerizing the view my second sister name Risha, approached me and said, “Hurry up! We are going to eat our lunch at auntie’s house. Don’t waste my time.” and she crossed her arm. I smiled and shook my head and continue fixing my things. “You move like a turtle! There are waiting for us you know what? I’ll go now.” She rolled her eyes on me and walked away with heavy steps. I sigh and leave my things. We ate our lunch full of jokes and laughter. After a while, we spend our day swimming and playing at the seashore.

At night at Viajero, everyone was all busy preparing for the birthday party of my elder sister Reshvia and my father, Rodolfo. I slowly walked to the venue wearing my favorite black dress, and I saw a lot of cars outside, and on the beach, the kids were having a fun time. While walking the loud music filled my ears, and the cold wind hugged my body. When I looked upon the night sky it felt so breathtaking. The glowing moon with argent-silver gradient captured my heart and soul. The beautiful millions of stars shine like a brilliant diamond. The waves are singing like a lullaby, wonderful night isn’t.

The party started at exactly seven in the evening. The program was good, and the food was so delicious we sang happy birthday, gave our messages, and wishes. After the program, we danced and enjoy the night as if there was no tomorrow. While I am dancing under the disco lights my father asked me about his phone, “Bunso did you see my phone? Aren’t you the last one who used it right?” he asked me with a worried face. So, I replied, "Yes dad I used your phone, but after taking pictures with Tito's I immediately return it to you,” confused written all over my face. Suddenly, my eyes dropped to his right hand, and I laugh. "Dad, how about checking your right hand and see if you were holding something?" I asked him while smiling. Dad laughed and scratched his head and said, "I am getting older!” we laugh and laugh. The night was indeed wonderful and memorable, that night we did a lot of activities and memories.

Tomorrow morning is our last day of our trip and we decided to explore various beaches and beautiful waterfalls in Maasim Saranggani Province. We captured countless pictures and videos. My father and I made a lot of humorous clips and played around as if we owned the world. This is the best vacation I’ve ever had! When we left, the sun had not yet risen. I had just fallen asleep on our trip, and when I awoke, everyone was in a panic because my father had begun to vomit and was having trouble breathing. I couldn't even stare at my father because I could see the pain in his eyes. As we arrived at our house, we immediately placed my dad in their room. I thought everything would be ok, but I was wrong. After two weeks my father was rushed to the hospital for the reason that, he was having a hard time breathing because of his whooping cough. Later that day, due to the hospital protocol, there should be only one person who will care and guide the patient, so we decided that my second sister Risha would watch over our dad. We can only see and talk to my father through video calls and chat. I thought he will be ok after three days but I was wrong every single day his illness got worsened. I cried every night because I can’t stand seeing my father suffering and dying because of his illness it broke my heart into pieces. On August 27, 2021, the doctor said that my father was critical. That day I cried and prayed to God to help my father survive his illness. At night I slept with a heavy heart and dried tears on my face. The weather was not good the next morning; it was raining heavily, and the cold wind was shrieking and producing a horrible noise. The phone rang again and again when my mother answered my world collapsed and my tears slowly slid down my cheeks, my father did not make it. After absorbing everything, I cried till I couldn't feel my heart, and my entire body became numb. My father is my inspiration, my loving and kind father, and I can't imagine my life without him. That day I am starting to lose myself.

Before he passed away my last word was, “You need to be strong dad, remember we already planned for my debut, and you said you will be my first dance.” And that dream became a shattered dream. Months later, I was laying on the cradle watching the sunrise and listening to the singing birds in our backyard. A beautiful brown butterfly perched on my toe. My heart beats fast, and my eyes started to cry. I know it's him.

Thank you for spending your time reading my not-so-good stories haha.
